When a new order is created, the Configure step of the Carpet order module (under Production orders in the SCHEDULING section) asks to enter a Name and a Machine.
Machine and quality
First select a Machine.
If no Quality nor creel is defined for the machine, you can select it next. By default, the settings of the last confirmed order for the chosen machine are used.
Configuration fields
After selecting machine and quality, all configuration fields appear. Some are filled in automatically from the selected machine. You can change the values and fill in other fields that are needed.
Some settings are defaulted by custom settings, if not changed in a confirmed order. See Carpet orders custom settings.

The Colored yarn sets image contains numbers to indicate the mapping. Example: the position of yarn 2 and 4 have been switched.
- Due date (optional): Enter when the order should be completed.
- Comment (optional): Enter more information about the order.
