When you have a machine newly added to your subscription, it's Name is the same as the Order ID that was entered in the Connect Admin module. You can change this name and set the correct configuration.


Unconfigured machines

After machines have been added in the Connect Admin module, they must be configured to integrate in Connect.

  1. Open Plant view (section MONITORING).
  2. Open the Overview.
  3. You will see unconfigured machine with the symbol in any of the views. Example:


    If you don't see your new machine, refresh the page (F5).

  4. To configure a machine, select it (detailed information is shown) and click the Edit button .
  5. Choose the right machine type.
    IMPORTANT: This cannot be changed anymore afterwards!


  6. A dialog with configuration settings appears. Those depend on the selected type of machine. Some settings are mandatory. The Order ID cannot be changed and was defined in Connect Admin.

  7. Finally, click Save.
  8. You will now see the machine with the entered name in Plant view (section MONITORING) and if you have carpet machines also in Documents & training (section RESOURCES).


Note: Order ID is shown in the column Machine ID and in the General tab of the machine properties as Machine order ID.


Existing machines

To change the configuration of a machine:

  1. Select the machine (detailed information is shown).
  2. Click the Edit button . The Order ID and Machine type cannot be changed.
  3. Finally, click Save.
