Plan your production orders


Once you have created your production order, it is automatically sent and queued at the end of the planning for that machine. You can however choose another start date and time.

Open the Planning board (section SCHEDULING).

Your newly created production order will be:

  • Added to the last run when the quality and creel matches.
  • Added to a new run when the quality and creel doesn't match with the current last planned run.

Changing the start time of a run

By default, runs are placed as close as possible to each other. They can be moved in time with drag and drop in combination with the SHIFT key.


Click and hold the run and then press and hold the SHIFT key to move the run. Release the mouse button to drop the run where you want it; then release the SHIFT key. While dragging, he start time is indicated in the time bar.



You can also change the start time of a run by clicking it and by setting it's Earliest start date and/or Earliest start time.




Icons


means that order is being queued on the machine.

Save changes

Don't forget to save your changes.

If you leave the Planning board without saving, you get this message:



If you want to save, click Cancel and then click the Save button.
