Machines can be configured via Plant view (section MONITORING): select a machine and at the bottom of the right pane that appears, click the Edit button

This article describes the settings available for the Weaving machine type.

Weaving machine type *
Specifies the category or classification of the machine. Is used to match compatible products, for declarations, to group similar equipment.
Select a machine type and click Confirm selection.

Machine details
| Name | Unique name used to identify the machine in Connect. By default, the machine name is derived from the Order ID, but it can be changed to a more descriptive name. |
| Order ID | Unique identifier assigned to the machine. This field is generated automatically and cannot be modified. Syntax: _BW<D|E>_<number> Where:

| Planning group * | Groups machines for event board purposes. |
| Standard speed * | Specifies the machine’s default operating speed. This value is used to estimate the production time of a Production order. If a Speed is set for the Product, it will override this machine-level value. |
| Standard efficiency * | Specifies the default efficiency percentage for the machine. This value represents the expected performance under normal operating conditions and is used to estimate the production time. If a Standard efficiency is defined at the Product level, it will override the machine-level value. |
| Number of feeders * | Specifies the number of feeders available on the weaving machine. Feeders supply the yarn or tape material required for the weaving process. The configured value indicates the machine's feeding capacity and is used to determine whether a weave product can be produced on the machine. |
| Number of shafts * | Specifies the number of shafts (heald frames) available on the weaving machine. The shafts control the movement of the warp threads during weaving and determine the complexity of the weave pattern that can be produced. The configured value is used to determine whether a weave product can be produced on the machine. |
Note: There is no separate setting for the number of rolls or panels. Multi-panel production is configured on the production order level rather than on the machine.
