The System settings can be reached by clicking the Settings button in the top right corner of Connect.

The following articles describe system settings:

  • Automatic stop groups: Manage how automatic stops are visualized and taken into account for calculations.
  • Physical quantities: Manages the foundational measurement types used throughout the system, such as temperature, volume or speed.
  • Declarations: Create the declarations that can be entered on the HMI during production.
  • Reject reasons: Standardize the reasons why products are rejected.
  • Report items: Shows all report items that you can use to display in machine cards.

The following modules in System settings are related to the hardware installation and work in conjunction with the BMSconfig modules: Device templates and Device templates catalog. These modules are managed by BMSvision installers and are therefore not documented in this knowledge base.
