Order bars in the Planning board view (SCHEDULING section) consist of two main elements:
Header: This groups production orders that share the same configuration, commonly referred to as a run. The header displays the name of the shared configuration.
The header shows 'UNKNOWN' if no configuration was defined.Order boxes: Each production order within the run is represented by a separate box showing the order name and status icons.
The configuration that defines how production orders are grouped into a run depends on the machine type:
Machine type | Shared configuration |
Carpet loom | Creel and Quality, e.g. creel HRC and Quality HRC001. |
Plastics | Tool |
Tuft | Tuft product |
Weaving machine | Weave product |
The color of the run bar, of the individual orders and of the status icons indicate the progress and status of both the run and the orders in the run. Example:
Status icons
One or more status icons can be shown. Their color depends on the status level (warning, error, ...).
To view the status description, hover over an icon.
For smaller orders, status icons may be replaced by three dots or may not be displayed at all. You can always hover over the order bar to view all status details.
Status descriptions
The statuses that can appear depend on your machine types. Here are all possible statuses:
Different configuration | The configuration of this order or run differs from the previous one in the queue. A configuration change is required before production can start. |
Creating | The system is currently creating or initializing the production order. This is a temporary state before the order is fully available. |
Sending | The production order is being transmitted to the Data Unit or machine for execution. This usually precedes the queuing or execution phase. In carpet, sending is only done if the translation is done correctly. |
Queuing | The order is in the process of being placed in the machine’s queue but is not yet fully registered there. |
Queued | The production order is successfully placed in the machine’s queue and is waiting for execution. |
Executing | The machine has started processing the order. Production is actively ongoing. |
Finished after due date | The expected end time of this order is later than its due date. The icon helps the planner quickly identify delays that may require rescheduling. |
Partially executed | The production order has started, and some quantity has been produced, but it has not yet been fully completed. |
Completely executed | The production order has been fully completed. All planned quantity has been produced and the order has been finalized. |
Carpet only statuses:
Translating | The production order is being translated to EP-files that are needed by the machine. |
Translated | The production order has been successfully translated to EP-files and will be queued in the machine schedule. |
To reconfirm | The order is planned but not yet configured on the machine. It requires user action to confirm and load the correct configuration before production can begin. |
Failure | An error occurred in processing or sending the order. Action may be required to resolve the issue before production can continue. |
Colors
The background color of an order box indicates its status:
White | The order is fully executed, currently executing, or is queued. | |
![]() | Pink | The configuration of the order differs from the previous run. |
![]() | Orange | The order was or will be completed after its due date. Orange takes precedence over pink if both conditions apply. |
The header background and border color of a run reflect the most critical status color of its orders.
![]() | Green | All orders in the run have been completely executed. |
![]() | Blue | The run contains orders that are currently executing or are queued. |
![]() | Pink | The configuration of the run differs from that of the previous run. |
![]() | Orange | The run contains at least one order that will or was completed after its due date. Orange takes precedence over pink if both conditions apply. |
