The Reject Reasons module is used to define and manage the standardized reasons why products are rejected during production. These reasons help classify and analyze quality losses, enabling better tracking, reporting, and root-cause analysis.
The module is available via the Settings button 
, under System settings. When the Reject Reasons module is opened, a table displays all defined reject reasons.
When creating or editing a reject reason, following fields are shown:
| Name * | The label or title of the reject reason. |
| Color | A color used for the button color in the Scrap data screen on the Data Unit. Click the pen button  and select or enter a color. The color of the button is the selected color. |
| Reject type | Specifies the category, either Reject (non-reusable product) or Waste (e.g. regrindable scrap). |
| Code * | A short code used for identification. |
| Display order | Determines the order in which the reject reasons appear in the Enter scrap data screen on the Data Unit. If no number is entered, the button order is determined by the Code field. |
| Machine type(s) * | Specifies which types of machines (e.g. molding, extrusion) the reason is applicable to. |
| Description | A detailed explanation of the reject reason, used for internal reference and clarity. |
