Carpet order module overview The Carpet order module was redesigned to become more intuitive and easier to compose carpet and velvet orders. This article describes the differences with the previous design and your gain.

The Carpet order module is available under Production orders in the SCHEDULING section.

Orders of steps

The Configure step and Preselection step have been swapped. Now you first can preselect order lines (available if you use ERP) or designs and then select the machine on which you want to plan the carpet order.

Improved layout

The layout of the Build step was improved to have more and better information available.

  1. The path layout always shows the full overview of all paths and the complete order length, no matter how wide the machine is.
  2. The order lines/design list is wider to show more information without scrolling is needed. The line density is increased to see more order lines/designs.
  3. A new list was added showing the order lines of the selected path, so you easily see the details of the items in the path.

New features

  • Path layout templates define a frequently used set of path widths for a particular machine width. The templates can then be applied to a carpet order before adding order lines.
  • Auto fill automatically adds order lines of the same width to the selected path.
  • Lots of information is available by hovering the items in the path layout.

Additional standard tier features:

  • Change the finishing per order item instead of using the same default finishing for all order items of the carpet order.
  • Plan more efficiently based on the order list from your ERP system or from the build-in mini ERP.

  • Only order lines and quantities that the buggy carry can be added to carpet order.

  • Jute can be added if the quality does not have conditional designs.
  • Labels can be added before and after a path.
