The file for the smartcreel is a pvd file. To create the file:
- Under Designs (section SCHEDULING), open Design library.
- Select the drawing for which you want to create the file for the smartcreel.
- In the Design information dialog, click the Add button
for Configurations.
- Select a Quality, Color set and Yarn set.
Make sure that for the quality, the tuftlength and the incorporation factor are set (same settings as needed to calculate yarnConsumption, see Calculate yarn consumption of a design).
- Click the button Download smart creel files at the bottom (scroll down). The file will be created.
- If you get pop-up dialog like this, click Allow.
- If the download does not start, click Download your files manually.
