A yarn is made of a certain raw material and has a weight (yarn count).

  1. Under Definitions (section SCHEDULING), open Yarn related, then Yarn.
  2. Click Click new .
  3. Enter a Name for the yarn.
    Normally this is a combination of the material and the yarn count.
  4. Enter the Yarn count and select the Unit of the weight.
    When changing the unit after entering a yarn count, the yarn count is automatically converted.
  5. At least one thread must be defined. Select the Raw material and its Yarn count.
  6. If the yarn has multiple threads, click Add thread.
  7. Click Save.



Now you can use the yarn to create a yarn set.
