Conditions to create PO with weft selection
- To be able to create production orders with weft selection, it is important that the images that you use contain the information for the weft selection.
Columns need to be added to the images according to the patterns described in the documentation of the used weave structure. - You need to indicate that the quality used to create the production order uses weft selection.
Indicate that the quality uses weft selection
You can edit an existing quality or create a new quality.
If your designs contain columns to control the weft selection, you can configure how Connect must use interpret these codes in the machine quality, as shown here:
Position and type
It is possible to control the Top, Middle and Bottom rapier.
It is possible to figure the order in which weft selection columns are present in your design, by dragging the rows of the different rapiers to the correct position.
Columns
For each rapier, it is possible to configure how many weft selection Columns are present in your design.
This is either zero or the number of picks per color line of the weave structure.
Default pattern
This pattern is used when Connect creates background images for rest-zones, free-zones, jute, selvedges or path-labels.
The pattern is a list of codes, separated with commas, for instance: "1" or "1,2" or "4,5,6".
Connect will insert these codes from the bottom of carpet to the top, and from the left column to the right column.
