If you want an estimation of the yarn consumption, you will need to add some properties to the quality that you use for the calculation.

The properties that are needed for yarn consumption are tuft length and incorporation factor.


You can modify these values in the quality:

  1. Under Definitions (section SCHEDULING), open Quality related, then Quality.
  2. Select a quality.
  3. Click Optional settings.
  4. Add the values for Tuft length and Incorporation factor.
  5. Click Save.



Now you can use this quality to calculate yarn consumption.
