When production orders are created with Connect, we offer the possibility to automatically remove that order from the machine, based on certain criteria. This can be used to dishearting your weaver to weave the same order twice or just to cleanup disk space.
This setting can be activated as follows:
- Under Production orders (section SCHEDULING), open an order module.
- Click the Custom settings button
. - The Delete policy for files on the loom has three options:
- None: don't automatically delete the order (default).
- Schedule woven: delete the order and eps after you start the next order.
- Time period: delete the order and eps x amount of days after you start the next order.
NOTE: This only activates from the next executed order. Does not go back in time!
Another setting is this toggle to automatically delete the order as soon as it is started (instead of when you start the next order). Keep in mind that this only deletes the order itself so the weaver cant weave the same order twice. Please use in combination with the above setting if you also want to cleanup the eps of that order after weaving it.
NOTE: This only activates from the next created order.
