In order to create a creel, you first need colored yarn sets, here you can find how to create a colored yarn set.


To create a new creel:

  1. Under Definitions (section SCHEDULING), open Yarn related, then Creels.
  2. Click the Create new button .
  3. Give your creel a new Name and enter the number of Creel positions.


  4. In the Colored yarn sets box, click the  button.
  5. Select a colored yarn set and click Choose. Note that only the yarn sets with the same number of creel positions are shown.


  6. A preview of the creel is shown. Click Save.


  7. You can add more colored yarn sets if needed. In the Colored yarn sets box, click the  button once again.
  8. Fill in the Start dent of each colored yarn set.


Once a creel is created, it can be added to the machine as possible or active creel:

  1. In Plant view (section MONITORING), select a machine.
  2. Click the Edit button .
  3. Open the Quality and production tab.
  4. Click the Select button in the Possible creels box.
